Lucienne day has died age 93, she was an icon in british textile design, maybe most famous for her work in the retailer Heals in the 1950's. A relationship that lasted 20 years. She was an inspiration to textile designers all over the world . her work looks contempory in 2010 some 60 years after it was created. you can read her obituary here.these are some of our favourite lucienne day patterns.
